Like in the video above there are many different types of corduroy to choose from for your sewing. Corduroy is a very versatile fabric and can be used for a lot of different projects. Especially if you utilize the right weight and wale. Take a look at some current Fall 2023 inspiration:

Roan is a great option for an oversized luxe button up. It has great structure details as well.
Bud
The Bud Shacket is begging for it to be sewn in corduroy. In fact one of our samples used a nice camel corduroy.
Nolan
With a utilitarian-inspired style and an easy-to-sew zipper fly, the Nolan pants are the perfect pattern to take a chance sewing them in corduroy.

Flares are coming back! And the Chelsea jeans are a great pattern to use corduroy. Just take a look at Sarai's amazing pair.
Chantelle
Chantelle is a body-skimming shirt dress with princess seams. It buttons up the center front, which is finished with a facing. It's perfect for a lighter weight Corduroy.

Looking at the Fall 2023 inspiration we saw a ton of corduroy suits and Keaton would be a great blazer with its double-breasted front and slim, relaxed fit.
