Every year when March rolls around, I am pining for sunshine and short hemlines. But let’s face it, March—at least here in Portland, Oregon—is a touch-and-go affair. Meaning that while my heart longs for sundresses and sandals, the reality is I’m better off sticking to sweaters and pants.
Patience, however, is not my best virtue. Instead, I opt to get creative with my wardrobe by integrating some of my tried and true cozy faves (turtlenecks and tights are a must) in with the spring pieces I just can’t wait to wear—hello skirts and dresses!
