Beginner

Beginner sewing patterns teach the most foundational sewing techniques. These patterns focus on the basics like sewing and finishing straight and curved seams, hemming, and simple shaping methods such as darts and gathers. In addition, beginner patterns omit closures, making them perfect if you are new to sewing or are looking for a quick and easy make.

Advanced Beginner

Advanced Beginner sewing patterns expand on the skills learned at the beginner level, helping you to build confidence and range as a sewer. You'll find simple knitwear projects, bias tape finishing techniques, and begin to explore closures at this skill level.

Intermediate

Intermediate level sewing patterns focus on more precision sewing. In this skill level, you'll learn specialty closures. Intermediate patterns also introduce the skills needed for simple lingerie and athletic wear projects.

Advanced

Advanced sewing patterns require great precision and time investment. You'll find tailored pieces in this category with elevated details like bound buttonholes and welt pockets.

    Pull-on woven jumpsuit sewing pattern

This wide-legged jumpsuit has elasticized gathered straps, a V-neckline at the front, and a scoop neck at the back. Patch pockets cross the side seams, and the neckline and armholes are finished with an all-in-one facing.

    This pattern is perfect for making a statement while staying comfortable and stylish. The wide-legged silhouette will make you feel like you're walking on clouds, while the elasticized gathered straps ensure the perfect fit every time. Plus, this jumpsuit is versatile enough to dress up or down, depending on the occasion.

    Medium weight woven fabrics such as linen, linen blends, double gauze, tencel, rayon, or Cupro.

    All-purpose polyester sewing thread, sewing machine needle, 5/8 yard lightweight fusible interfacing (25" wide), one yard 1" woven elastic and a safety pin or bodkin.

    Refer to size chart for amount of fabric needed for your size.

  • Sizing & Fit

    Amy is wearing a size 6 graded to an 8 at the waist and a 12 at the hip. We added 1" (2.5 cm) to the strap length, 1" (2.5 cm) to the torso length, and 4" (10.2 cm) to the inseam. Her measurements are 36" (91.4 cm), 29" (73.6 cm), 42" (106.7 cm), and she is 5'11" (1.80 m) tall.

    Tambrie is wearing a size 18 (from the 00-30 range). We reduced 1" (2.5 cm) at the waist and hip, and added 1.5" (3.8 cm) to the strap length. Her measurements are 45 1/2" (115.6 cm), 38" (96.5 cm), 49" (124.5 cm) and she is 5'8" (1.73 m) tall.

    Our Misses patterns are drafted for a C cup and our Curvy patterns are drafted for DD. Both are drafted for a height of 5'8" (172 cm).
